From Vancouver to Alaska on ms. Statendam

First stop out of Vancouver: Ketchikan

A glacier is like a living thing, it grumbles and moves all the time.

A weird kind of ice cone, reproducing small ones.

As is if she does it everyday, I was scared racing between blocks of ice in 0 degree water.

We fly-boated along the complete 2.5 km long foot of the glacier.

Sandra as relaxed as can be.

All this water, the birth place of one of the many Alaskan rivers, is just over 2 feet deep and around 0° Celsius.

In every direction the sights were different.

When blocks fall, the glacier makes a lot of spooky grumbling noices.
